Learn how to use elemental shading techniques to greatest advantage, drawn work, a border that looks to be intricate but is simple to develop, compound stitches, couching bullion, and how to expand a stitch pattern into an exposed background to mimic damask. Instructions are written for both silk threads and cotton. There are over 40 pages of detailed instructions and diagrams, enlarged photo, and many screened photos to guide you.
